Connor's Field Day

Today was field day at Connor's school. He has been looking forward to it for the past week. They played several games including flag football, bean bag relay, duck duck goose...but with a cup of water that you poured on the head of the person who was to chase you, and they also played with a parachute. Connor and all of us enjoyed every minute.

Connor had so much fun playing all the games and his competitive nature insured that he excelled at them all. He loves to run and is very fast. If any game includes running Connor always has an edge. He loves to WIN!!

We cooled off with Bullet Popsicles after all the games were finished. A great afternoon was had by all.

Easter Eggs

Coloring the Easter eggs with the kids was so much fun. They loved watching the tablet dissolve in the vinegar. The tablets were deceiving as to what color they were until they started to dissolve so we played guess the color before we added the vinegar. Connor picked a teal color egg as his favorite and Cambell's was red. Connor was the helpful big brother and helped Cambell with retrieving the eggs from the cups when it was needed. They both ended up with very colorful fingers which I have found always is part of dying Easter eggs.

Maverick was very curious about the Easter eggs and wanted to be a part of the fun too...of course we had to be very careful that he didn't eat them. We had a terrific time coloring the eggs and are looking forward to the hunt on Sunday.
